So, why Oolong? What is Oolong? My simple answer to the often-asked question of what Oolong is: Green tea is not oxidized at all and Black tea is fully oxidized. Oolong is semi-oxidized, so it tastes in between Green and Black tea. If it is less oxidized, it tastes akin to Green tea, and to Black if it is more oxidized.

According to the Tea Association USA, tea is an all-natural and environmentally sound product from a renewable source. The tea plant is naturally resistant to most insects; oxidation of the tea leave is a natural process. So, tea itself is already natural and environmental friendly.
